I created a cover for The New Yorker that depicts Halloween in New York City. The cover features a meticulously carved pumpkin, carefully placed on the steps of a building. With its intricate details, this pumpkin becomes the captivating centerpiece of the image. Inside the pumpkin’s mouth, a sleeping pigeon is at home. The background features scattered autumn leaves, suggesting the scene takes place in the fall.
