I created a cover for The New Yorker that depicts Halloween in New York City.
The cover presents a meticulously illustrated carved pumpkin carefully placed on the steps of a building. With its intricate details, this pumpkin becomes the captivating centerpiece of the image.
Inside the pumpkinā€™s mouth, a sleeping pigeon is at home. The background displays scattered autumn leaves, indicating that the scene occurs during the fall.
